narrow, upright
´Van den Akker´ is a Northwest native that is an extremely narrow upright. It may reach over 21´ tall while remaining only about 1´ wide. Its severly weeping branches are covered with a slightly webbed blue green foliage that hangs tight to the trunk. ´Van den Akker´ also has a skirt at the base, which finishes the tree nicely. This variety will make a remarkable exclamation point, both figuratively and literally, in any garden.
