This dark green plant hs white-tipped new spring growth. It is slower growing (6´-8´ /10 years), with a relatively open, upright mounding form. As with all of our hemlocks, ´Albospica´ is very shade tolerant, but will do very well in mottled sunlight, or in garden areas that are mostly sunny. The spring new growth are contrasted very nicely by the older, darker needles, but ´Albospica´ will be an exceptional compliment to the garden 365 days of the year.
