We prune the contorta seedlings into a ´hindu-pan´ type layered-poodle shape. We are also able to train many of these Shore Pines more horizontally, so that they have a "windswept" look. The shore poodles have a dense, green foliage that we prune twice a year for outstanding quality and form. This specimen will be a focal point and conversation point in any garden setting.
