Aconitifolium is a beautiful form of Downy or Full Moon Japanese Maple. The 4"-8" leaves are cut very deeply, as well as serated. Small purple flowers accent the green leaves of spring, and these leaves turn a beautiful red/orange in the fall. The Japanese name translates to "Dancing Peacock", which comes from the action of the large, feathery leaves responding to the breeze, as well as the brilliant fall colors.
