´Malinik´ is a slow growing, dwarf Bosnian Pine. The needles are of the lovely dark green, stiff, medium length kind that is found on many of the Bosnian Pines. ´Malinik´ has a narrow conical shape, with branches that grow out from the trunk, and then curve out and up toward the sky. This tight conical form offsets the broader outlines of many of the annuals and perennials in the garden, and the dark green needles do a marvelous job playing off the colors present in those other companion plants. The slow growth rate of only about 6´ in 10 years, ensures that this addition will continue to be a perfect fit in almost size garden area, where it can be admired each and every day of the year.
