We grow several varieties of Alaskan Cedar. ´Glauca´ is the fullest and most compact of the group. While most of our nootkatensis are extremely pendulous, reaching for the sky, ´Glauca´ seems to expend most of its energy developing full, horizontal branches, with dark green foliage that hangs toward the ground. This attractive, full, almost "bushy" plant is very useful in a variety of garden settings: as a solitary focal point of interest; in small groups to form a backdrop or create separation; as a hedge.
