´Banshosho´ is a flat-topped Japanese Black Pine. This roundend,wide, slow growing (6´-8´ /10 years) variety has light green foliage, and is covered with multiple light colored buds. ´Banshosho´ can be very useful when several are scattered along a gently sloping bank, or when used as a low lying point of interest when there are taller maples and conifers as companions. The multiple stems and buds provide interest on this green specimen, 365 days a year.
